IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF ALL BURN SURVIVORS

For burn survivors, the pain doesn't stop after the fire goes out. Rehabilitation and recovery last the rest of their life.

According to the American Burn Association, 486,000 burn injuries receive medical treatment each year. Of those, 40,000 are hospitalized including 30,000 at hospital burn centers. In 2010, a fire injury occurred every 30 minutes!

Most Americans think of massage as a luxury. For many burn survivors it is a necessity for a good quality of life. Massage & Burn Scar Therapy can help keep their scarred skin thinner and more pliable resulting in less pain and itching, more and easier range of motion and mobility. It also results in less anxiety and depression, better mood and may help in the ability to think more clearly.

Please help burn survivors by donating to the Massage and Burn Scar Therapy Foundation today.
